On this cloudy Thursday, let’s chat about something fun…
So, you know the awkward male stripper scenes you often see in sitcoms? Whenever we come across one, friends and I laugh about how, instead of strippers, we’d find it way sexier if a few smart guys came by, wearing button-down shirts with the sleeves rolled up (#forearms) and smelling really good and asking us about what books we’ve recently read. And maybe bring dessert from a local place? That would be hot.
Similarly, my dad friend Aaron jokes that he likes the opposite of the typical She’s All That movie premise of a girl taking off her glasses and shaking out her ponytail and suddenly looking beautiful. Instead, he likes the scene in reverse: a woman putting on glasses and tying her hair back before reading (like his beautiful bespectacled bookish wife!).
